With global softening of ATF, Indian public sector oil companies have reduced the price of Aviation Fuel Turbine from Rs.29.15 a litre to Rs.27.10 a litre. This comes into effect from March 1, 2009. Since ATF forms 40-50% of operations cost of domestic airlines, many would expect a revision of fare in airlines. However, there are no indications from any airlines and they remained quiet for the last two downward revisions. {backbutton}
