Civil Aviation minister, Mr. Praful Kumar, told reporters that the government may consider allowing FDI investment in domestic airlines. This will be a major policy change after holding it for more than 10 years. With many analysts betting on growth in Asian aviation amidst the plunge globally, this move will be of interest to foreign airlines, particular to Singapore Airlines, Virgin Atlantic etc., who have eyeing India market for long.{backbutton}
